PN5212 / PN5320 User Manual

To allow authentication and authorization for the Power Over the NET™ 
device through a  server, do the following:

1. Check 

Enable

.

2. Fill in the IP addresses and port numbers for the Preferred and Alternate 

servers. The default port number is 49.

Note:

Make sure that the port numbers you specify here match the port 
numbers used by the servers.

3. In the 

Shared Secret

 field, key in the character string that you want to use 

for authentication between the Power Over the NET™ device and the 
Server.

Finishing Up

When you have finished making your settings on this page, click 

Save

.
