6.3 LEVEL PROBES
6.3.1
Clean the level probes in the storage tank
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its upper compartment, off. Also
turn the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off.
Open the upper panel (using the wrench provided), wait until the tank is totally empty
.
Disconnect the
electric contact playing attention at the position of the cable. Unthread the level probe from the support.
Clean the steel rod, using the softener liquid if possible. Be careful not to scratch its surface
.
Put everything
back in its initial position. Connect the electric cable to the rod. Restore the electrical supply (from the
machine's switch and from the external mains switch). Close the upper panel using the wrench provided.
6.3.2
Steam generator level probe
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its upper compartment, off. Also turn
the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off.
WARNING! Wait 1 hour before intervening after turning the machine off. This lets all the
hot parts you may come in contact with cool off.
Remove the electrical contact from the probe. Loosen the nut (using a CH12 wrench) and pull out the probe.
Clean the steel rod using an softener liquid. Reinstall everything in its initial position, tightening the steel nut
and reconnecting the electric cable to the rod.
If water leaks from one of the parts that underwent maintenance then tighten the clamp nut tighter. If
leakage persists then replace the entire unit.
6.4 REPLACING LIQUID DRUMS
Open the lower panel and cut off electrical power by turning the service switch on-board the machine to off.
Pull out the empty drum, extract the nozzle from the empty drum and insert it in a full drum.
Be sure to use the proper liquids recommended by AT-OS (low-foam detergent).
Be careful not to invert nozzles when your appliance uses several different liquids.
6.5 PUMP
6.5.1
Dismantling the pump from the machine
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its lower compartment, off. Also
turn the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off.
WARNING! Wait 1 hour before intervening after turning the machine off. This lets all the
hot parts you may come in contact with cool off.
Turn off the water supply to the machine.
Remove the upper panel (using the wrench provided) and wait until the tank and the pump are totally empty.
Remove the 4 screws from the black plastic cover (containing the pump's electrical connections) and remove
the nuts in order to disconnect 3 cables: the two lower cables are the supply cables. The upper cable on the
right is the ground cable.
Loosen the metal clips on the sleeves: two are placed on the aspiration sleeve and the third on the delivery
sleeve.
Use both hands to grasp the plastic header of the solenoid valves and pull it out from its anchor bracket. Pull
it towards left and then lift it to help the pump delivery sleeve to exit.
(If more than four pipes exit from the header then loosen their clips and remove them from the header in
order to free space in front of the pump to be able to work).
