Chapter : Setting up your NAS
WARNING:
• Use only the bundled power adapter. Using other power adapters may damage your
device.
• Ensure that you plug the power adapter to a power source with the correct power rating
(100 ~ 40VAC).
2.1.3 Turning your NAS ON/OFF
To turn your NAS ON:
Press and hold the power button at the front of your NAS until the power LED starts
blinking blue.
To turn your NAS OFF:
• Press and hold the power button at the front of your NAS for more than five seconds
until the power LED starts blinking blue.

2.1.2 Connecting your NAS to a power source
To connect your NAS to a power source:
1. Connect the power cord to the power adapter.
. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port at the back of your NAS.
. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
