Description
Power LED
Solid blue
Power is ON and NAS is ready for use.
Blinking blue
NAS is booting up / shutting down / restoring to its factory
default settings.
OFF
Power is OFF.
HDD1 / HDD LED
Solid blue
HDD is present in normal mode.
Blinking blue
Data is being transferred.
Solid green
NAS is in Sleep mode or Rescue mode.
Solid red
HDD is installed but fails or new HDD is installed.
Blinking red
HDD free space is lower than 10%.
OFF
Power is OFF or no HDD is installed.
Network LED
Solid blue
NAS is connected to a network.
Blinking blue
Data is being transferred.
OFF
Power is OFF or NAS is not connected to a network.
USB LED

Solid blue
A front USB .0 device is detected.
Blinking blue
Data is being copied from the front USB .0 device to NAS
via One Touch Copy.
OFF
Power is OFF or no front USB .0 device is detected.
1.4.2 Bottom view
Front panel lock
• Before inserting a SATA hard disk, slide this lock to (unlocked
position) and disengage the front panel from the NAS case.
• After inserting a SATA hard disk, engage the front panel with the NAS
case and slide this lock to (locked position) to secure the front panel
to the NAS case.
IMPORTANT:
The NAS cannot be powered ON if this lock is not set to
(locked position).
