12. Remove the two screws [7] on the non-operator
side and on the operator’s side. Remove the front
cover.
13. Refer to Step 12 and remove the two screws [8]
on the non-operator’s and the operator’s side and
remove the belt guide assembly.
14. Continue the disassembly by removing the six
screws [9] Step 12, from the bearing caps on each
side of the machine and remove the bearing caps.
Remove the exit roller, and then remove the two
screws [10] Step 12 from each side of the machine
that support the belt support plate and remove the
plate.
15. Remove and replace the belts.
16. Reassemble in reverse order making sure that the encoder
drive belt and the transport belts are in their proper place
before installing the bearing caps. It is easier when
reassembling, to install the belt drive roller first, then the
front exit roller. You may use a flat piece of metal stock to
help with the installation of the exit roller bearings. Next
install the support plate screws [10], and then the belt guide
assembly and screws [8]. Lastly, install the front cover plate
and screws [7].
