DISASSEMBLY – ASSEMBLY

Service Disassembly Procedures 

NOTE:  The following disassembly should only be done by a qualified, trained service 

representative. 

CAUTION:  When touching electronic boards wear a wrist strap that is grounded. 
OPERATOR SIDE COVERS 

1.

 

Remove the three screws at the top of the left hand 
operator side covers.  Then remove the two screws 
from the bottom of the cover. 

2.

 

Remove the cover.  Do not pull it too far away as the 
cable to the control panel could be damaged. 

3.

 

Disconnect the control panel cable from the PC Board.  
Disconnect the connector from the Media Thickness 
Control. 

4.

 

Reassemble in reverse order. 

 

 

A is Head Transport Mechanism under Left Operator 
Side cover.

B is the Motor, Motor Drive Belt and Feed Clutch.
