4.5 Emergency opening
If you have not changed the batteries in time and they are empty, you can only use the fitting via the emergency
opening.
4.5.1 Profile cylinder design
Use the fitting with the key as you are accustomed with traditional locks.
4.5.2 Emergency power contact design
You feed in power to the fitting for opening via the emergency power
contact.
For this you need a new 9 V battery.

Hold the positiv terminal against the emergency power
contact and the negative terminal against the housing.

Now you can use the fitting as normal.
Beware
Danger of explosion and combustion from a short circuit.
The metal housing of the fitting is conductive. If you hold both
terminals against the fitting, the battery will be short-circuited.
That can cause it to explode.
Hold the terminals only as described below against the fitting.
