4 Operating instructions
4.1 Fu ncti on
If you hold a card without access authorisation in front of the reader, the external door handle/knob remains
deactivated. You cannot open the door.
1 Sec. You will hear an audible signal.
There are two release modes:
Q
Temporary release:
The external door handle is released/activated for approx. 2 seconds. The door can be opened during this
interval. After this, the external door handle is once more blocked/deactivated.
Q
Permanent release:
The external door handle is continuously activated and available for opening, until such time as permanent
release is once more deactivated.
Notice
It is possible to assign every User Card the authorisation to activate/deactivate permanent release (see the
section “User-Card Programming, Authorisation for permanent release").
4.2 Time Restrictions
You have 5 seconds time between the individual operating sequences. If you pause for longer than this, then your
entry will be refused and reset.
4.3 Operation
Temporary unlocking of a door
1 Sec. Hold the card in front of the card reader
The external door handle is activated for 2 seconds.
The external door handle is deactivated (locked) again!
