DG14 and DG16 Board & Sensor Reference Manual

$PASHQ,RTC

or

$PASHQ,MSG

. The type 16 message must be

enabled for output in order to use the MSG query to get the contents of the type 16
message when the receiver is configured as a base station. In the case of the
remote station, only the MSG query can be used to obtain the contents of a type
16 message broadcasted from a base station.

Example

Enter the following command to create a type 16 message stating, “This is a test
message”:

$PASHS,RTC,MSG,THIS IS A TEST MESSAGE

OFF: Disable Differential Operation

$PASHS,RTC,OFF

This command disables differential operation, whether the receiver is set as a base
station or a remote station. You can view the current RTCM mode setting by
entering the

$PASHQ,RTC

command and checking the MODE field.

QAF: Quality Factor

$PASHS,RTC,QAF,c1

This command sets the number of received differential correction frames in RTCM
differential mode above which where c1 ranges from 0 and 999. When the total
number of received messages reaches the c1, c1 resets to 100.

$PASHS,RTC,QAF

is used only in REMOTE mode.
c1 is used to compute the QA value, where: QA = # of good messages/QAF. The
QA parameter allows you to evaluate the communication quality between the base
and remote stations.

Example

Enter the following command to set the quality percentage mask to 99%:
