3.- MAINTENANCE
Initial cleaning
After installing the appliance, and before filling the tub with water, it is necessary to fill it with soapy water, which
should be left to boil for a few minutes. Next, empty the tub and rinse it as many times as necessary, to eliminate the
remains of soap.
Daily cleaning
In order for the appliance to work as new, it is advisable to follow the following instructions:
Do not use gritty and abrasive detergents for cleaning.
Do not use a water hose to clean the appliance.
It is advisable to regularly clean the inner part of the tub with soapy water that will be left to boil for a few minutes,
and then rinse it with plenty of water.
It is important that as soon as the tub has been cleaned and before filling it with oil, it be completely dry without a sign
of water.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
It is vital that the flue pipe does not become blocked, not even partially, for the proper functioning of the burners.
The replacement of any functional component that can affect the safety of the appliance must be carried out by an
AUTHORISED TECHNICIAN.
As a general rule, whenever an operating component is replaced, you must check that the mains tap is shut and that
is no fire in the vicinity of the appliance
RECOMMENDATIONS:
For the pasta to be well cooked there has to be plenty of water, at least 1 litre per 100 grams of pasta. It is preferable
not to use salt in the water, and if salt is used, use rock salt rather than table salt at a proportion of 7 grams per litre
of water, a drop of oil can be added.
The pasta must be put into the water when it is boiling and moved immediately so that it does not stick together.
When the water is boiling it is left for a few minutes until it is “al dente”. The boiling must be strong at the beginning
and then turned down.
The time is calculated from the moment in which the water starts to boil with the pasta in it until it is “al dente”. You
must test a bit of pasta now and then and when it is just right, immediately stop the boiling.
