14.7.4.2. V/Oct base note, Hz/V base note (Mod 1, 2)
MiniBrute 2S provides the option to set a separate reference note for both Mod 1 and Mod
2. This parameter will change from V/Oct to Hz/V depending on which CV Pitch option is
selected for the Mod.
14.7.4.3. Note Priority
In the event that more than one note is played on the keyboard at the same time, this
parameter determines whether the pitch will be derived from the highest or lowest note
played. This also affects the KBD output at the KBD patch bay connector.
This also tells the MiniBrute 2S which note from a polyphonic sequencer track or keyboard
will be interpreted as the one it should play.
The "Last Note" setting is a combination of the two, as it will allow any new note to change
the pitch.
14.7.4.4. Envelope Retrig
If this parameter is set to Off, notes that are played in a Legato manner will not retrigger
the envelopes. The "On" setting means that each new note will retrigger the envelopes from
their attack stages.
14.7.4.5. Pitch Bend Range
This parameter sets the MiniBrute 2 response range for incoming Pitch Bend commands.
14.7.4.6. Velocity Range
This determines the change in voltage that will be generated by the full velocity range of the
keyboard. It affects the Velo patch bay jack.
14.7.4.7. Pressure Range
This determines the change in voltage that will be generated by the pressure-sensitivity of
the keyboard (i.e., aftertouch), or depending on the setting of the
switch,
by the full throw of the Mod wheel. It affects the Mod patch bay jack.
14.7.4.8. V/Oct Base Note Pitch
MiniBrute 2S provides the option to set a center note for its Volt per Octave format.
