14. MIDI CONTROL CENTER
When the MIDI Control Center and MiniBrute 2S are connected, you are able to:
• send a set of 64 patterns to the MiniBrute 2S internal memory
• use the Store To and Recall From buttons to transmit an entire set of 64 patterns
• drag/drop to transfer a bank of 16 patterns from the MCC to the same bank in
the MiniBrute 2S
• edit the Device Settings
• import/export Device settings
• perform other MCC functions such as file management and Template creation,
among other things.
14.1. Template Browser
The Template Browser shows a list of all Templates available to you inside the MIDI Control
Center (MCC). They have been stored on your computer. These are divided into two main
groups of Templates: Factory and User.
The User Templates are the ones you have recalled from your MiniBrute 2S with the MCC.
See the
section to learn how to do this.
A Template contains the 64 patterns from the Sequencer, arranged the same way they are
in the MiniBrute 2S: in four banks of 16 patterns each.
14.1.1. Building a library
You can build a limitless library of patterns and setups in the User Templates area.
Make as many patterns as you like, wherever you are, with or without a computer attached.
Then the next time you use the MIDI Control Center, simply press the Recall From button.
This will transfer the MiniBrute 2S pattern memory into the Template Browser of the MCC,
where it can be saved as a new Template.
