3.3.2

Disconnecting the System from Power Supply

If you want to remove the system, you must disconnect it from power supply.

3.3.2.1

AC System Disconnection Procedure

To disconnect the system from power supply, proceed as follows:

1. Unplug the power cord from the power supply to disconnect power to the 

equipment.

2. To ensure that the PSUs are not energized, verify that the LEDs on the front of the 

power supplies are off.

3. Loosen the connector fastening screws at both sides of the pluggable screw 

terminals. 

4. Disconnect the AC power cords from the system.

Short Circuit and Personal Injury
Ensure that the power feeds you plan to remove or attach are powered off and cannot be 
switched on while you are working. 
Ensure that all power input lines are not energized. Be careful with the used tools in order to 
prevent a short circuit.
