PCIE-7207 OS

7.2.1

Sensor Information

The PCIE-7207 OS has a utility to display sensor information locally on each CPU.

1. Log in to the host system as

root

2. Log in to a PCIE-7207 CPU as

root

3. Go to

/opt/bladeservices/bin/pcie7207sensors

4. Execute the following command:

# pci7207 -s1 -n2 -ct

Sample Output

7.2.2

BIOS Update

The PCIE-7207 OS includes a utility to perform BIOS updates. Two different forms of BIOS
updates are supported.



BIOS region only update

: This is the recommended update mechanism.



Full BIOS update

: This updates the BIOS and Intel ME regions. A provisioning of AMT is

required for console access after a full BIOS update.

To perform a BIOS region only update on a PCIE-7207 CPU:

1. Copy the latest version of PCIE-7207 BIOS image to the host system.

2. Log in to host system as

root

Obtain the latest version of the PCIE-7207 BIOS using the SWORDS download server
available from the Artesyn Customer Resource Center Website.
