ATCA-7490 Installation and Use (6806800U11F

)

1. Type the 

volume name

 and press <Enter>.

2. Select the RAID level using up and down arrow keys to scroll through the available RAID 

levels, then press <Enter>.

3. To select the physical disks, press <Enter>. The following screen appears.

4. Select the number of hard drives by using the up and down arrow keys. Press the <Space 

bar> to select or unselect a drive. After that completing it, press <Enter>.

5. Unless for RAID 1, select the strip size with the up and down arrow keys, and then press 

<Enter>.

6. Select the volume capacity and press <Enter>. The default value shows the maximum 

volume capacity for the selected disks.

7. At the

 Create Volume

 prompt, press <Enter>to create the volume. Press <Y> key to 

confirm the volume creation.

8. Exit the user interface by selection of the 

Exit

 option, and press <Y> key to confirm exit.

For 

UEIF Boot Type

, the Intel Rapid Store Technology EFI-driver is started by the BIOS. The RAID 

configuration is in this case part of the BIOS setup.
