VARIATION
Each pattern has a variation of that pattern.

To select the variation of the main patterns, press the VARIATION button. The indicator will light
up. If you press the VARIATION button, then press the INTRO/ENDING button, the variation
pattern will play after the introduction.
RHYTHM SECTION
METRONOME
The metronome is a timing device that counts out the beat and tempo in audible clicks and flashes of
the tempo indicators. If the Rhythm accompaniment is playing the metronome sound will replace the
percussive rhythm sound immediately.
ASSIGNING THE SPLIT POINT FOR THE AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT
The keyboard is split into two sections at the split point. The default split point for auto accompani-
ment section is the G1 key. A different split point for the auto accompaniment can be assigned in the
Function menu.
Please see the Function section of this manual for more information.
FILL - IN
The fill feature will insert a short rhythmic pattern of one to two measures in length, depending on the
rhythm style selected and the variation.

Press the FILL-IN button to start the fill, holding down the FILL IN button will extend the fill indef -
initely.

Press the FILL-IN button again to stop the fill.
♫Please note , there is a different fill for each of the main rhythm patterns and the variations.

1. Press the METRONOME button to start the metronome. Its indicator will light up and the
“Metronome” menu will appear on the display.

2. To change the time signature, use the +/YES or the –/NO buttons within 5 seconds after the
metronome has been engaged, to choose the meter 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 6/8 or 12/8 .

3. Use the ACCOMP VOLUME slider to adjust the metronome volume and use the TEMPO +/-
buttons to change the tempo sounded by the metronome.
