The display will prompt the user to enter the Calibrator Lot Code:

The Calibrator Lot Code is found on the label on the inside of the
box lid in the Calibrator Kit. It will be a four or five digit number.
After entering the Calibrator Lot Code, press ENTER . If this Lot
Code matches the one previously entered, proceed to Section
5.2.3.
If the Lot Codes do not match, the display will prompt:
Cal Lot Code XXXXX
New Lot? (Y/N)
If the Lot Code was entered incorrectly, press NO and enter the
correct Calibrator Lot Code.
If a new lot of reagents is being used, press YES . The new
calibrator values, which are found on the insert card, will need to be
entered. The calibrator values consist of three five-digit numbers
and need to be entered only when a new Calibrator Kit is used. The
leading zero (if there is one) and the decimal point must be entered.
Each group is entered separately. Press
ENTER after each group
of digits. At the next prompt, enter the month and year of the
expiration date of the Calibrator Kit as a four digit number (mmyy).
The Instrument will then display:
Lot Code: XXXXX
Correct? (Y/N)
Press YES to confirm and to continue with the Instrument
Calibration.
5.2.3 After the Calibrator Lot Code is successfully entered, the
Instrument will take a series of readings and then prompt:
