connect the additional Ethernet interface line to the RJ45-type socket
XS1 or clip connector X1 of the board NE01 according to Tables C.4, C.5;
−
connect a 48 V external power supply to the XS1 socket of the main
board according to Table C.1.
d)
Connect equipment controlled by the integrated relay
−
connect the relay control line to the terminals of the connector row
according to Table C.1 in Appendix C.
ATTENTION! TO ENSURE IP PROTECTION, AFTER CABLE ENTRY AND
TIGHTENING OF STOVER NUTS, MAKE SURE THE CABLES ARE TIGHTLY
PRESSED. INSTALL SEALING GASKETS IF NECESSARY.
The Ethernet interface line on the other side is connected to the digital subscriber
interface of the communication system through station cross equipment.
The availability of reverse polarity protection at the CCS-IP2 input prevents damage
to the device, and so the performance of the device is not affected when reverse polarity
supply voltage is applied across contacts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of clip connector XS3.
2.4.3 Functional earthing connection
ATTENTION! UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGES ON
ENCLOSURE FROM 2 KV TO 6 KV WHEN CONNECTING VIA ADSL LINE, IT IS
NECESSARY TO CONNECT TO THE FUNCTIONAL EARTHING BUS OF
OPERATION SITE!
2.4.3.1 Examples of functional earthing connection are illustrated on Figure 7.
