The correct execution of the steps above is a guarantee that devices will be stably mounted inside
19” Rack cabinets. It is not recommended to skip any of the
above, because the "loose" UPS and/or
Battery Pack may be damaged or inflict damage to equipment or mounting elements installed inside
the cabinet.
Installation with the use of mounting ears
1)
Align the mounting ears with the screw holes on both sides of both Armac UPS and Battery Pack
modules. Then tighten the screws firmly.
2)
Place the UPS and Battery Packs at the selected height, making sure that the mounting ears are at
an even height with respect to the vertical mounting rail kits. Then slide the UPS and BPs into the
19” server cabinet and tighten 2 M6 mounting screws to the previously installed 2 M6 cage nuts, on
each side of the UPS and Battery Pack modules.
