Disinfection of the
Maxi Air
air supply and air
hose
(20 steps)
Step 1 - 5 Removing visual residue
1 Use protective gloves and glasses.
2 Disconnect the
Maxi Air
air supply from the
power supply and the air hose from the
Maxi Air
mattress.
3 Remove the air hose from the
Maxi Air
air supply
by turning the hose socket
(A)
counter clock-wise
and pull the air hose out.
(See Fig. 1)
4 Plug the air outlet of the
Maxi Air
air supply with
a cloth or a disposable towel to prevent moisture/
water/cleaning fluid to enter the
Maxi Air
air
supply.
5 Clean the
Maxi Air
air supply and air hose from
visible residue using a cloth or soft brush soaked
in water alt. spray with water and wipe with a
clean cloth. Start from top and move downwards.
Step 6 - 10 Cleaning
6 Spray cleaning fluid on
Maxi Air
air supply. Use
a brush or a cloth if need for cleaning (to remove
any deposits).
7 Use a new wet cloth to wipe off all traces of
cleaning fluid or if more suitable by spraying
water and wipe with a clean cloth. The cloth
should occasionally be rinsed in running water
when removing cleaning fluid.

8 Roll up the air hose and lower it down into
cleaning fluid. Scrub the hose with a brush.
9 Rinse the air hose with water (approx. 25
⁰
C) to
remove cleaning fluid.
10 If cleaning fluid cannot be removed in step 7 and
step 9 spray water on the affected part and wipe
off with disposable towels/cloth. Repeat until all
of the cleaning fluid has been removed.
Step 11 - 20 Disinfection
11 Spray cleaning fluid on the
Maxi Air
air supply.
12 Allow a disinfection time according to the
instructions on the disinfectant bottle label.
13 Roll up the air hose and lower it down into new
cleaning fluid.
14 Allow a disinfection time according to the
instructions on the disinfectant bottle label
15 Use a new wet cloth to wipe off all traces of
cleaning fluid on the
Maxi Air
air supply or if
more suitable by spraying water and wipe with a
clean cloth. The cloth should occasionally be
rinsed in running water when removing cleaning
fluid.
16 Rinse the air hose with water (approx. 25
⁰
C) to
remove cleaning fluid.
17 If cleaning fluid cannot be removed in step 15 and
step 16 spray water on the affected part and wipe
off with disposable towels/cloth. Repeat until all
of the cleaning fluid has been removed.
18 Let the
Maxi Air
air supply
dry.
19 Hang the air hose to drain water and air-dry.
20 When dry, insert the air hose socket to the
Maxi
Air
air supply socket inlet. Make sure it clicks into
place.
