Example measurements:

Open end

In this example, the line is open on all 
pairs. ARGUS locates the fault in the area 
from 49.3 m to 51.7 m. 
This indicates that the line is open at 
approx. 50 m.

Short

In this example, the line is short-circuited 
between pairs 1-2 and 7-8. ARGUS 

displays the value "Short" as the status.

Mismatch

This example shows a mismatch (>115 



 

at pairs 3-6 and 4-5. This indicates an 
open cable end or an impedance
