WATER COIL
The ARFIT air handling units may be supplied with a water coil for heating and/or cooling. These batteries use
the flow of hot and/or cold water for heating and/or cooling.
For a correct performance and to avoid damages in the coil, the following warnings must be observed:
Check the limits of water temperatures and pressure.
All the hydraulic connections must be performed according to good art practices.
An air vent must be placed in the upper part of the hydraulic circuit.
There must be a filter in the hydraulic system.
DIRECT EXPANSION COIL
The ARFIT air handling units may be supplied with a direct expansion coil for heating and/or cooling. These
batteries use the flow of a refrigerant fluid to transfer heat to the air.
For a correct performance and to avoid damages in the coil, the following warnings must be observed:
The batteries are designed to only use the selected refrigerant.
The installation of these batteries must be performed by a proper qualified technician for the service.
Make sure that the working fluid pressure is within acceptable values.
In the case of a coil used for cooling, it must be installed with the condensate tray and the condensate
sewage to remove the excess of fluid from the unit.
ELECTRIC BATTERY
The ARFIT air handling units can be supplied with an electric battery. These batteries use electric resistances for
heating. They present a three-phase power supply, as shown below the respective connection diagrams.
