Arcus Controller (RS-485)

COM1/COM2 (DB9)

Note on VMX-30 – HMI to Arcus Controller

VMX-30 only has one physical COM port.

RS-232 communication setup:

Connect the necessary RS-232 signals

The switch on the back of the VMX-30 must be moved to the “T” position for
RS-232 communication.

Select COM1 in the VIEWX software when adding protocol and controllers.
Only use COM2 when using RS-485 communication.
