18. HMI Program Protection

VIEWX allows the user to set password protection on uploading, downloading and
editing. Thus there are 3 different types of passwords.

Note that users can add a password hint 14 characters.

To disable the password feature leave the field blank.

Within the VIEWX editing environment there is no need to enter a password when using
the [

download to HMI] function.

Password verification is only required when one saves the HMI program as a [*.vho] file.

Any subsequent [

download HMI program] , [

upload HMI program] or edits of

that file will require password verification.
