6. Modbus communication

Modbus polling rate

The recommended maximum polling rate for the Modbus protocol is twice per second (2/s). The
device also works with higher polling rates; however, unless there is a pressing reason to exceed the
recommended rate, it is strongly advised to stay below the recommended maximum polling rate.
