8.1 Pump
Protector
Optional sensor
code 4664000.100
is a device which, when connected to the computer, detects
and signals breakage of the pump membrane or indicates when the oil level drops below its ope-
rational minimum level.
The preferred sensor input is always marked with an "X" on the cabling; if this input is not available,
use the secondary input marked "T".
CAUTION:
only use the secondary input "T" if the input marked "X" is occupied by another
sensor.
Do not use the secondary input "T" if no sensor is connected to the "X" input, as the
computer will not detect the Pump Protector in this confi guration.
8.2 Foam
marker
The foam marker only operates correctly if connected to the computer with the ARAG foam marker
control kit,
code 520004C.100
.
All information for connecting the foam markers is given in the manual provided with the device.
ONLY use the ARAG foam marker control kit: use of unsuitable kits or kits not provi-
ded by ARAG automatically voids the warranty in case of damage to the computer.
• Positioning the foam marker control kit
Fig. 12
- Position the control kit in a sheltered location, near to
the pump, with its cables exiting from its base.
- Secure the device with the bolt provided in the
package.
CAUTION: if, due to limited space, the
cable has to run around a corner, make sure
that this is at least 5 cm away from the devi-
ce, as shown in Fig. 12
Fig. 13
- Route the cables in such a ways that they are long
enough to reach the devices to which they are to be
connected
- Connect the cables as indicated in Fig. 13:
R
= BRAVO Computer
B
= Power cable
C
= Foam marker
- Secure the cables with clamps along their route.
