Remineralization Cartridge - How to change the Remineralization Cartridge

The Remineralization Cartridge should be changed when you change your three pre-filters (good for a
maximum of 1000 gallons)

Final Polishing Filter

Remove (see Fig. 10) the two tubes

from the fittings on either side of your

used Remineralization Cartridge.

Attach the new Remineralization Cartridge by reversing steps 3 and 2. Make

sure the arrow on the Remineralization Cartridge is pointing in the direction

of water flow when you hook it back up.

Depressurize your system (see Fig. 25)

Pull the

Remineralization

Cartridge out of its clips.

New Cartridge

Old Cartridge

Turn on the Manual Shut-Off Valve and Tank Top Valve to repressurize your system.

PLEASE NOTE: Please flush out the Remineralization Cartridge by allowing the tank to fill then empty the

whole tank down the drain through the faucet. Do this flush twice.

Unscrew the two elbow

adaptors from either end

of the old cartridge and

insert them into the new

cartridge. (Remove the

white plugs from the new

cartridge before screwing

these in.)
