4.4.3. Deleting a Phone Book Entry (Administrators Only)
In order to delete any phone book entry in the AquaTelemetry unit, send the following SMS
message:
PBXX=
Where XX is the phone book entry reference (01 – 50).
The AquaTelemetry unit will respond with:
SITE=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
PBXX=
Be extremely careful not to delete or overwrite your own phone book entry. Doing
this will lock you out of the unit forcing you to get another administrator to re-enter
your phone number.
If you are the only administrator, the AquaTelemetry unit will have to be retrieved
from the field and connected to a PC for re-initialisation.
Alternatively, Aquaread engineers can reset telephone numbers in the
AquaTelemetry unit remotely provided proper authorisation can be provided by the
customer.
