FOR DRY VACUUMING OR WET CLEANING WITHOUT COLD
WATER RINSE ON.
UTILITY REQUIREMENTS:
ELECTRICAL:
120 volt, 60 hertz, Model
model130/150/158 15 amp standard plug
Model 230/250/258 (2) 15 amp standard plugs
Power unit should be plugged into dedicated grounded outlet.
HOT WATER
with shut off (up to 170˚F [77˚C])
Hot water should be connected to water outlets and the cleaning
solution injector.
COLD WATER
with shut off:
1.
Assure that cold water valve is connected and turned on to power
unit separation tank rinse (hook-up to solenoid valve is located
above vacuum inlet on upper left side of canister).

ADJUSTING the WATER SPRAY:
The volume of cold water
sprayed into the waste tank can be adjusted by turning the handle
of the needle valve located below the solenoid clockwise to
decrease flow. By lowering the waste tank and starting the power
unit the flow can be metered by placing a 4 cups (1 liter) measure
under the cone to catch the water. Adjust to receive 9 cups
(2 liter) per minute.
NOTE:
The power unit will stop every 8 to 10 minutes to allow the waste
tank to empty. The power unit will stop for about 8 seconds and
start again automatically.
DRAIN:
2” DWV drain to sewer. A p-trap will be required and vent to meet
plumbing codes.
EXHAUST:
Exhaust air from the vacuum motor should be exhausted to the
outside of the building, using as direct a route as possible.
