HELPFUL TIPS
8
Do not allow motor to remain on unless a hose is connected and
in use, or an inlet valve is open. If air is not permitted to flow
through fan blades, motor damage may occur.
Check debris screen on a regular basis, particularly when
vacuuming new carpets or picking up bulky items such as wood
shavings. Replace when two-thirds full.
The guard screen located in the separation tank above the cone
may have become clogged with debris. The guard screen is not
removable.
CAUTION:
When using the residential wet/hose and tools,
connect the tool to the hose before connecting the water line to
the wall. Water can inadvertently be sprayed out if trigger is
depressed.
When wet vacuuming, clean the hose and tools after each time they
are used. When cleaning is completed, rinse hose and tools by
sucking up water from a pail or sink, being careful to not fully
submerge the hose in water. Then allow vacuum to run for a few
minutes to dry out hose and line.
If possible, leave holding tank (bottom chamber of the power unit)
open when not in use to air out. Depending on use, sucking a
gallon of premixed Aqua-Air Bio-enzyme cleaner/degreaser - Part
#SC05GL (8 oz in one gallon of warm water) will freshen hoses,
piping and holding tank.
Wipe off tools and hose and store the hose on hose hanger. Loop
it over 3 -4 times so it hangs loosely on the rack.
To prevent odor in system, empty or replace debris screen regularly.
