Passport Echo Viewer’s Guide

Off (Auto Relock):

With this

setting, when you turn off Parental
Control and turn the set-top box
off and then back on, Parental
Control will be enabled
automatically.

In addition, if the remote control
remains inactive for ﬁve hours,
Parental Control is enabled
automatically.

Turning On Parental
Control from the Quick
Settings Menu

Press the SETTINGS key.

Passport Echo displays the Quick
Settings menu.

Press the up or down arrow to
highlight the Activate Parental
Control option.

A dot in the No column indicates
that Parental Control is currently
turned off.

Press the left arrow or SELECT to
change the setting to

Yes

Passport Echo requests your PIN.

Key in the four digits of your
Parental Control PIN.

Passport Echo displays a
conﬁrmation message.

Press the A key to acknowledge
the message.

Parental Control and all locks are
