REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD

Carefully read p. 55 (MAINTENANCE).

NOTE

Remove the key from the ignition

switch.

♦

Place the vehicle on the center stand.

♦

★

Unscrew and remove the two screws

(1).

♦

★

Raise the front part of the foot board

mat (2).

♦

★

Remove the footrest mat (2).

♦

Unscrew and remove the two fastening
screws (3) of the bag hook.

♦

Remove the bag hook (4).

♦

Unscrew and remove the screw (5) with
the relevant washer.

♦

★

Unscrew and remove the three screws

(6).

♦

★

Unscrew and remove the screw (7).

Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tangs and/or their
seats.
Handle the painted components with care
and avoid scraping or damaging them.

♦

Withdraw and remove the front inner
shield, rotating it toward the saddle.

REMOVING
THE LOWER SHIELD COVER

Carefully read p. 55 (MAINTENANCE).

Place the vehicle on the center stand.

Before carring out the following, let the
engine and the exhaust silencer cool
down until they have reached room
temperature, in order to avoid burns.

Unscrew and remove the screw (8).

♦

Raise the rear part of the footboard mat

(9).

♦

Unscrew and remove the upper screw

(10).

♦

★

Unscrew and remove the rear screw

(11).

♦

★

Withdraw the side tang (12).

♦

Withdraw the two front tangs (13) and
remove the lower shield cover.
