REPLACING PREFILTERS
PROCEDURES
1. Shut unit down.
2. Close inlet supply valve.
3. Turn the blue pressure housings counterclockwise (use filter wrench AMI
Model No. H-C9200 for standard 10” filter housing). Filter cartridge
should come free from the housing top and remain in the housing.
4. Remove and replace cartridge.
5. Before replacing housing, insure that o-ring seal is lubed and placed in
groove of housing (AMI Model No. for lubricant: H-C111DC). Inspect
seal and replace as needed.
6. Rotate housing clockwise until hand tight.
1. Sediment Filter – Removes rust and dirt particles
2. Carbon Filter – Removes chlorine
3. Carbon Filter Polishing – Removes bad taste & odor imparted by bladder tank
