The ProDesk-4 normally ships with 1 supply,

an optional power supply can be fitted in all chassis sizes except for the 16-channel.

With 2 PSUs fitted, the total Console load is shared equally between the 2 supplies.

The supplies are easily removed for service or replacement (4 screws) and can be hot-swapped.

Use MODE switch to select desired meter response:

When MODE switch is pressed,

STATUS LED will illuminate and show current mode:

Amber= A Peak

Green= Average Only

Red= Peak Only

Status LED will remain illuminated for a few seconds-

Pressing MODE switch when LED is illuminated will step to next mode,

LED will change color.

If MODE switch is not re-pressed when LED is still illuminated,

meter status remains in its current mode.

STATUS LED- Additional Function:

If Mute-All is activated (via Phoenix connector on rear panel),

STATUS LED will blink RED approx twice per second.

The 4 meter arrays will be turned off and all XLR outputs will be muted.

The meters are capable of displaying 3 different types of ballistic response:

Average (VU-style), Peak (PPM-style), or a combination of both.

Average Response is displayed as a slow bargraph

Peak response is dispayed as a fast bargraph

When both are active, Peak shows as a single LED above a bargraph
