Common procedure for address writer operation
Be sure to connect to the AnyWireASLINK master unit to use.
The operation requires the address writer ARW-03 (Ver.2.10 or
higher) or ARW-04 (Ver.04-1.00 or higher).
Refer to the address writer's Products Guide for details of the
operation method.
1. Connect the AnyWireASLINK slave to the master unit of the
AnyWireASLINK system.
Transmission signal is required to write and read setting items.
Set with the address writer while supplying the transmission signal to the
transmission lines (DP, DN) of the terminal.
2. Setting is required for all AnyWireASLINKs devices.
Open the protection cover of the set analog input unit and direct the
address writer to the setting port of the unit as shown in Fig.1 to set.
(Put the light emitting and receiving surface as close to the setting port as
possible.) Close the cover of the other units which are not set.
When receiving the transmission signal and starting, the unit displays set
input specifications for about 3 seconds and then switches them to actual
input value display.
This is the setting of the average number of moving times of analog input.
The average value of the number of setting times +1 is adopted.
When this automatic setting mode becomes available (value 1, 2, 3), the
address or parameter set to the base unit is automatically assigned to
extension units.
They are assigned even when LB-A12W is mixed.
In the "reference shift mode," however, only ON or OFF is reflected.
Set renewal of the reference value individually.
This is a function to automatically reflect an address and parameter setting
set to the base unit to the extension unit.
An address number is set as a beginning number from which part of the
transmission frame is occupied to the unit.
Set any address number other than "255." The weight is "bit."
The factory address-number setting of the unit is
"255," which means no setting.
In this state, do not perform an address automatic
recognition (refer to the Manual of the master unit).
If the address number setting is "255," the unit
cannot perform an input/output operation.
Make sure to use the terminal after setting the
address number within the range of "0 to 254."
Automatic setting unavailable
Address/Parameter setting to the base unit and extension unit
respectively.
Address automatic setting
Only the address is automatically assigned to extension units
extended from the base unit in series.
Parameter automatic setting
Only the parameter is automatically reflected to extension units
extended from the base unit.
Address/parameter automatic setting
The address is automatically assigned to extension units extended
from the base unit in series.
The parameter is automatically reflected to extension units extended
from the base unit.
