To check the engine oil level, use the dipstick.
Oil level must stay between the MIN and MAX references on the dipstick.
Periodically replace engine oil, following the recommended intervals.
To empty the oil sump, open the oil drain plug.
To fill use the top engine filling cap.
Stop the engine, remove ignition key.
Wait some minutes for cooling of components.
Put a container under the filter.
Unscrew the filter (2) and replace it with the new one.
Check the ORing seal (1); replace if necessary.
Lubricate the ORing seal before assembling.
Tighten the filter with a torque of 25 Nm.
Turn the engine on and keep it at minimum revs for some minutes, to increase its temperature to the normal
working value (70 – 80 °C).
Turn the engine off, remove ignition key.
Wait some minutes to let the oil drain into the oil sump.
Check oil level; fill some oil if necessary.
Use only the engine oil recommended by the engine manufacturer, meeting international standard
API CJ-4 / ACEA E9.

Engine oil filter must be replaced periodically as per recommended intervals, and when changing engine oil.
If you find engine oil leakages, stop immediately the engine and contact the authorized service.
