AMX TDS (Television Delivery System) 

Transmitter Setup - Tuner Setup (DTV-TX03-US)

Stream 

Each stream detected by the Tuner is displayed in this area. The example screen shown in FIG. 76 on page 56 
indicates only four Streams, but (depending on the provider) there may be any number of Streams available. 
Each Stream indicated here provides the following information and options:

• Stream Number:

This read-only field indicates the Stream Number used by the selected 
Transmitter.

• Full Stream:

Select this option to multicast all channels within the transport stream.

"Full Stream" is a technology that uses a hardware accelerated filtering method 
to improve the performance and visual quality of streaming video playback.

Note: If streaming has been changed between Full Stream and individual 
channel selection the unit will automatically reboot.

• Channel List:

The main window on this page provides a listing of all channels detected by the 
Transmitter, complete with the following information and options:

• Ch. No:

Channel number. To change channel numbers, click and type 
directly into this text field.

• Ch. Name:

Channel name. To change channel names, click and type 
directly into this text field.

• Frequency:

Channel frequency (read-only)

• Strength:

Strength of channel’s signal (0 - 255, read-only).

Note: For best results, only stream channels with a Strength 
rating of 201-255.

• Enabled:

Click these check boxes to enable each listed channel. 

Up to 5 individual channels can be selected per stream; one 
stream for each of the two Tuners.

Save

Click to save all changes made on this page.

Re-Stream:

Click to re-start the stream for the selected channel(s).

Note: If streaming has been changed between full stream and individual 
channel selection the unit will automatically reboot.

Disable all Channels:

Click to disable (and de-select) all channels from all streams.

Note: If the tuner unit is currently streaming, the unit may reboot depending on 
the stream type.
