Touch Panel Program Reference

Color Passive-Matrix LCD Touch Panels

The message reference to MASTER refers to the AXCESS Control System, and TP
refers to touch panel.

•

YES

Changes the program port from the master AXCESS Control System to

the touch panel.

•

NO

Cancels the serial master mode setting.

Page tracking

Press the PAGE TRACKING button to set the page tracking option. When the page
tracking button is enabled, the touch panel sends active page data back to the
AXCESS Control System. The data can be used to control pages in another touch
panel. Page tracking is on when the button background is black with white text
(Figure 119), and off when the background is white with black text.

Baud

The BAUD button (Figure 120) sets the data communication speed for the touch
panel.

Make sure to match the baud transmission rate for the AXCESS Control System, PC,
or other external RS-232 device. The baud rates are 300; 600; 1,200; 2,400; 4,800; 9,600;
19,200; and 38,400.

Up and down buttons

Increases and decreases the baud rate.

Editor Bar

Press the EDITOR button in the Protected Setup page to activate the Editor Bar. The
Protected Setup page remains open until you press EXIT. Then, the Editor Bar
