Protected Setup Page
The Protected Setup page allows you to set elements such as passwords, mouse
controls, and communications parameters. The flowchart in Figure 96 shows how
you access the Protected Setup page.

The Protected Setup page is password-protected; so, when you press the
PROTECTED SETUP button on the Setup page, the number keypad shown in
Figure 97 appears. If the Editor Bar is active, you do not have to type the password
each time you press the PROTECTED SETUP button.

Open the Protected Setup Page

, which is the system default, and press ENTER to open the Protected
Setup page. (You can change the password, which is explained in the
Set Password
subsection.) If you enter a wrong number, press CLEAR and re-enter the number.
The Protected Setup page (Figure 98) appears when you enter the correct number.
