Free Flow
Stops the feeding
Potential Cause:
•
Tubing is not in position
•
Close the roller
clamp on the feeding
set.
•
Check if the
silicone tube of the
feeding set is in
position. If not,
please re-install the
set to pump.

Air in Line
Stops the feeding
Potential Cause:
•
Air bubble in the tubing.
•
To remove air
bubbles in the
feeding set,
disconnect the set
from the patient's
gastric tube and
prime the feeding
set.

Feeding Complete
Stops the feeding
Potential Cause:
•
A feeding task has completed
Caution
•
To unload the tubing, close the
roller clamp, disconnect the
tubing from the patient’s enteral
access and then unload the tube
from the pump. Otherwise, the
free flow may occur by gravity
causing over feeding to harm
patient.
•
Reset the alarm for
other operations.
