Positioner Configuration and Calibration
The Positioner is provided fully calibrated and configured according to the
model code of the valve that the actuator is fitted to. Changes can be made if
required by means of a Configurator box connected between the positioner and
the actuator to access calibration and configuration options. The following
parameters can be accessed:
The options within each parameter are:

CW / ACW on increasing mA
o
CW on increasing mA
o
ACW on increasing mA
•
Action on loss of mA demand signal
o
Move to 4mA position
o
Move to 20mA position
o
No actuator movement (default)
•
Initiate actuator calibration
o
Start actuator calibration
•
Deadband
o
1% to 9% in 1% steps
•
4-20mA output
o
Output equals current position
o
Output equals demand input
o
Output is scaled position error, 4mA is no position error
o
Output is scaled position error, 12mA is no position error
