Protruding tile edges must be
knocked off before replacing the
tiles.
Before mounting the connec-
tors, one T-head bolt is to be
inserted into each mounting an-
gle.
The connector which was
screwed together at the begin-
ning is to be screwed in place,
in line with the rows of tiles.
At the positions where the sec-
tions are connected, there is a
continuous groove. The groove
is interrupted by the connector
on the side closer to the tiles.
Note:
It is advantageous for the
groove to be at the bottom, as
shown here. This reduces the
torque required for fastening
the collector.
Both connectors for two OWR
20 collectors are pre-assembled.
This means that the connectors
span unfavourable distances
between rafters, and allow dif-
ferent distances from the edge.

Eternit roof:
The same instruction steps as
shown in photos 1-5 apply for
roofs covered with eternit tiles or
ondulated eternit sheet. The holes
for the hanger bolts are to be
drilled and the angle plate is to be
adjusted to the appropriate
height. Then the connector is
mounted on top of it.
