Index motion speed calibration:
Please note : The Index piston speed is pre-calibrated in
the factory and only in rare occasions there is a need to
recalibrate it.
In any case consult your dealer before
changing this setting.
4.2.3
Step by step flushing:
General description:
A special step by step operation mode is provided at the
filter’s control panel to be used during the filter’s start up
process.
(see section 3.4)

This mode can be entered through the
“Technical Operation” screen of the Tools menu
of the HMI panel.

Pressing The Start/Stop button enables this
operation mode.

While in this mode the filter moves to the next
step each time the Start Pushbutton is pressed.

When a new step starts, the green lamp blinks
until the pre-programmed time length of this
step is counted down and ended, or until the
piston reaches the relevant limit switch. By
looking at the countdown data on the screen it
is possible to know how much time left to
complete the current step.

Once the filter is ready for the next step the
lamp stops blinking and remains lighted.

Moving to the next step is possible only when
the lamp stops blinking.
Steps’ groups:
The flushing process consists of a large number of steps.
These steps can be combined to 3 major groups:
1. Flushing Initiation group – Steps that prepare
the filter to the actual cleaning of the cartridges.
2. Cartridges’ Cleaning group – A set of repetitive
steps that are involved in the actual movement
of the spry nozzles along the 36 cassette rows of
the cartridge.
3. End of Flushing group – Steps that end the
flushing process and return the filter to filtration
mode.
