7.4 Operator Emissivity Mode
Operator Emissivity Mode mode is accessed via the menu system (See Section
7.6.4).
Operator Emissivity Mode allows you to predefine up to 4 emissivities and
allows the operator to easily change between them using the up/down arrow
keys. Otherwise the trigger works identically to Classic mode operation.
This mode is ideal for users who need to simplify the operation of a
Cyclops
and lock out the menu system – the display only shows a single temperature
value for the pre-selected time processing function.
Normally in Operator Emissivity Mode the menu system is locked out – as
indicated by the padlock in the top left hand corner.
To access the menu system, hold down the
and
keys simultaneously
for abut 3 seconds until the padlock disappears. The menu system is then
accessible using the
key in the usual way.
After exiting the menu system, the lock reappears after 20 seconds
To select the time processing function, first select Classic Mode (see 7.6.4 ),
and then return to the main screen Measure Mode to select the time function
using the
and
keys (or if you have a C055, select the time function from
the menu). The selected time function is shown in the top right-hand corner of
the screen.
When in Operator Emissivity Mode, the emissivity menu item (see 7.6.2) gives
access to the 4 pre-selectable emissivity values.
