ADVANCED CHIPSET SETUP Options

Hidden Refresh

If AT-Style is selected, the CPU must wait during DRAM refresh. The

Hidden setting improves system performance. If Hidden is selected, the

CPU is not put on hold during memory refresh, so it continues running

internal cycles or running from secondary cache memory during refresh

and will have wait states added if DRAM is accessed during refresh. The

settings are AT-Style or Hidden. The BIOS Setup and Power-on defaults

are AT-Style.
