Wait for <F1> If Any Error
The settings are
Enabled
or
Disabled.
If enabled, the BIOS waits until the end user presses <F1> before
continuing after an error message. If disabled, the BIOS continues after the error message. The BIOS Setup
and Power-On default is
Enabled.
System Boot Up Num Lock
The settings are
On
or
Off.
The BIOS Setup and Power-On default is
On.
When enabled, this option turns
off the
Num Lock
key when the system is powered on so you can use the arrow keys on both the numeric
keypad and the keyboard.
Floppy Drive Seek At Boot
When enabled, a Seek command is sent to floppy drive A: at system boot. The settings are
Enabled
or
Disabled.
The BIOS Setup default is
Disabled.
The Power-On default is
Enabled.
System Boot Up Sequence
AMIBIOS can boot from floppy drive A: first or hard disk drive C: first. This sequence can be reversed.
The settings are
C:,A:
(the BIOS Setup default) or
A:,C:
(the Power-On default).
System Boot Up CPU Speed
The settings are
Low
or
High
(the BIOS and Power-On defaults). The CPU generally has two speeds. Low
speed is an AT-compatible speed, such as 6 MHz, 8 MHz, or 10 MHz. High speed is the rated frequency of
the CPU.
