MOUNTING
1. Choose location
1) Orientation : Only install unit vertically with inlet and outlet connections
on the bottom. DO NOT install horizontally or upside down.
2) Install indoors. Product not designed for outdoor installation.
3) Caution: DO NOT INSTALL IN A BATH ENCLOSURE OR SHOWER STALL .
For Canada Only (required standard language that does not apply to
this Coilless Technology® tankless): DO NOT CONNECT TO A SALT
-
REGENERATED WATER SOFTENER OR A WATER SUPPLY OF SALT WATER
4) Do not install the water heater in cold location, below the freezing point of
water (32
o
F / 0
o
C).
5) Clearance required: Clearance required: 10” above, 10” below, 4” to
each side and 10” in the front.
2. Mount
1) Use the Wall mounting bracket (B) and a pencil to mark the location of the
holes (2 on the top and 2 on the bottom). The template will ensure
clearance requirements are maintained.
2) Attach the wall mounting bracket (B) to wall using the anchors and
screws ST3.9X25 provided.
3) Lift the water heater and slide the tab of the wall mounting bracket on the
back
of the water heater (A) over and into the opening on the wall
mounting bracket (B) as shown in Figure 3. Lock them by the screws
ST3.5X12 provided.
