SETUP
SET NEW
The
feature provides security from unauthorized
access to the setup menus. As delivered, the system is set to a
default
of “1324”. To access the
menus,
this
must be entered before the Main Menu is
displayed (see page 4). When the Main Menu is displayed, a
menu function allows user change of the passcode.
The ENTER NEW
menu function allows the
operator to set the
to restrict access to the menus.
When this function is selected, the following screen is
displayed, prompting the operator to enter a new Passcode.
The numbers displayed at the bottom of the screen correspond
to the eight buttons on the front panel, as illustrated below.

To change the current (or default) Passcode:
1. Enter a new
by pressing four panel buttons for
the new user’s Passcode. As each number is entered, an
“X” is displayed for the entered number.
2. After the fourth number is entered, the system displays a
verification screen, as shown below.

3. Re-enter the same Passcode, by pressing the same four
panel buttons, to verify the
just entered.
4. If the
is verified, the system saves the new
Passcode, displays a message “PASSCODE VERIFIED”,
and returns to the Main Menu.
If the
is not verified, the system displays the
message “VERIFICATION FAILURE,
NOT
CHANGED” and returns to the Main Menu with the
original
not changed.
FACTORY RESET
A factory reset feature provides the means of resetting all
function parameters. This reset does not change
the system passcode; the current
is required in order
to perform this reset.
Note:
This reset erases all user-entered information
and
should be used only if the
does not allow
normal entry to the menu system (page 4).
To perform a factory reset:
1. Remove power from the unit.
2. Press and hold the CH 1 and CH 2 buttons while power is
reapplied to the unit.
3. Release the CH 1 and CH 2 buttons after the
menu, below, is displayed.

5. If the
is entered correctly, the

is reset to the factory default conditions. The system then
continues with the Main Menu, as on page 4.

is not entered within 30 seconds, the system displays the
message “AUTHORIZATION FAILURE” and exits from
the menu system. The system is not reset.
