9.3 

Extended periods of downtime 

 

 

If the machine is not used for an extended period, it should be 
cleaned and sprayed with a suitable preservative before being stored. 
The function of the overload clutch which is located between the an-
gular gearbox and belt drive, should be checked by an authorised 
workshop before the machine is brought back into operation.

When removing or fitting tyres, the tyres must always be fully 
deflated (a split tyre wall can fly apart with explosive force during 
removal).
