Dual-circuit service brake system
Compliance with the maintenance intervals is essential for the correct
function of the dual-circuit service brake system.
This implement has no parking brake!
Always secure the implement with the wheel chocks before you dis-
connect the implement from the tractor!
Dual-circuit air/hydraulic brake system
This implement is equipped with a dual-circuit air/hydraulic brake
system. A hydraulic system within the brake drum activates the brake
shoes.
WARNING
If the implement is parked and the airlines are disconnected
from the tractor, the compressed air tank is full, the brakes will
be activated.
If air leaks out of the compressed air tank, the air pressure will
drop and the brakes will slowly disengage. It is important to
make sure that the wheel chocks are properly placed to prevent
the implement from rolling.
The brakes are released immediately when the compressed air
tank is full and the (red) supply line is connected to the tractor. It
is important to attach the implement to the tractor before con-
necting the (red) supply line. Be sure that the tractor hand brake
is applied and do not remove the wheel chocks before the im-
plement and tractor are attached to each other.
To activate the dual-circuit pneumatic braking system, the tractor
requires a pneumatic braking system which is also dual circuit.
